From Marketcircle’s Daylite Help:
  • If you’ve previously connected to the database from the same local network as that of Daylite Server and now you attempt to connect from home/any other location then Daylite remembers the network settings.
    1. Launch Daylite.
    2. Choose File > Log in to Database.
    3. Select a connection from the list.
    4. Enter your username and password. Click Log In.
  • If this is the first time you attempt to make a connection to the server and you’re located outside the local network then do the following:
    1. Launch Daylite.
    2. Choose File > Log in to Database.
    3. From the Log in to pop-up menu choose Add New Connection.
    4. Enter the server address. Click Search.
    5. Select a database enter the username and click Create.
