Onsite & Offsite Backups with CrashPlan
MacWorks has partnered with Code 42 Software to provide support & hosting for CrashPlan Pro. After several years of working with many of the available options our testing has proven this as the best option available (also at the best price) for our clients.
While there are many low cost consumer offsite backup solutions out there we have always found the business class versions to be too pricey for most clients. We have also found many of these solutions to not be as reliable as advertised for both home and business users. By providing an enterprise-level hosted solution we are able to control these costs support the entire solution end to end and also provide local initial backups and restores without the need for downloads or shipping.
Backup Options
The great part is you can mix and match between systems that need to be offsite and those that backup to an onsite drive is adequate. With the licenses we include the charge in our hosting price so if some of the systems would back up to us you would save the $70.

CrashPlan’s licensing does not allow for business use of the CrashPlan product. MacWorks is not permitted to install configure or monitor these backups so those tasks would need to be done yourself or license one of the other versions. For more information about Code 42’s policy on this click here.
Pricing
All products are charged for one year at a time. There is an additional $12/system annual support charge for CrashPlan Pro if using internally or hosted at CrashPlan. This charge is waived if hosting with MacWorks.
MacWorks does not charge a per GB charge instead having different storage levels to keep pricing as straightforward as possible.
